This was a lush, full plant when my son gave it to me a couple of years ago. I neglected it and within months it was down to a couple of spindly stalks. It was dying.
I read that Maidenhair Ferns like humidity. So, I created a terrarium-like atmosphere with a vase and transplanted the last two stalks. I waited.
It was a slow process, but a year later my little fern is healthy, green, and growing!
You definitely have a green thumb, Jane! Maiderhair fern is so pretty and delicate. My cats would all over this plant in a heartbeat, so indoor plants for me. Dang!
