A Ragtag Daily Prompt

Do we need the ability to scry to know the future?

We don’t need a fortune teller to inform us that Covid-19 will make life worse before it gets better. It’s obvious. There have been thousands of tragic deaths as governments around the world try to contain the virus. We watch anxiously as the rate of new cases skyrockets and the death toll climbs. The fear is real.

We practice social distancing in an attempt to flatten the curve. Some people in a panic act irrationally, hoarding toilet paper and stockpiling groceries. The world has gone crazy.

The good news is that this won’t last. History shows us that in times of war and disease the human race survives. We are resilient. Life will eventually return to normal and this moment in time will become a distant memory.

We don’t need a fortune teller to show us what our future holds.

Wishing all of you peace, strength, and health during this time.
