Ban the American President

A Ragtag Daily Word Prompt

Trump Lashes Out at Fauci Amid Criticism of Slow Virus Response ...
Trump with Fauci

Fauci is most likely going to be fired in the near future. In the Trump administration he is the only voice of reason. He is diplomatic when interacting with reporters. He sticks to the facts and refuses to play the blame game.

This is not true of Trump. He takes no responsibility and is quick to deflect his lack of action on his advisors, governors, the World Health Organization, and China.

During a time when Trump’s sole focus should be on the health of Americans he is worried about the economy and the stock market. He places little value on the lives of his people. As the number of fatalities grows Trump sees this as an acceptable margin to restart the economy.

What the American people need is a leader with strong leadership willing to take on the challenge of this pandemic. He is allowing governors the freedom to make their own decisions without intervening unless they don’t do things his way. In reality, he has abandoned his governors as they scramble to take care of their own States.

After leaving each State to their own devices he tells reporters that he has total power to lift the stay-at-home order for the entire country. Something he wishes he had but thankfully does not.

All I could think of as I watch this president create fear, confusion, and uncertainty is, “Would someone ban this clown already?”

God help the United States of America!

  1. Fauci was on TV last night to ‘set the record straight’ on his comments. I swear Trump made him apologize for even insinuating that he knew more than Trump, let alone disagree with him. This is a joke. Trump doesn’t know jack. Even his fellow Republicans are both wary and weary of his proclamation: “I have the power.” No you don’t, dumbass.
