When I moved in one-and-a-half years ago the landscape was a blank canvas. Last summer I planted a colourful array of annuals and put up hanging baskets filled with beautiful flowers.
This year my garden has transplants from a friend. Daffodils, peonies, and lilac bushes are just the beginning of my foray into the wonderful world of gardening. Hopefully, with another year of growth my plants will bloom.
Every year my garden, this blank canvas, will fill out with lush greens and vibrant multi-coloured flowers. Like Contrary Mary, I will watch my garden grow and if I’m lucky I’ll plant silver bells and cockleshells.
The joys of planting a new garden–I love it!
